Email v. snailmail debate is entirely dependent on the purpose of the message.
For example, if you're sending a thank you for a wedding gift, you'd best take the time to hand write that bitch. However, If you're saying "Hey, I'll be in the Chicago area Wednesday through Friday, wanna grab drinks?" Email is clearly superior.
Livejournal decided the last sentence of my message didn't need to exist, so here's the rest.
"Sadly, in this instance, I don't believe it will matter one way or the other. In my experience, unless a whooooooole hell of a lot of people write about something a rep doesn't do jack. That said, I'd go the least expensive route (time and money wise) for you, which is email."
