So, lunch yesterday was fun though not all THAT exciting. There were 14 students (half third years, half second years like me), a bunch of judicial clerks for the 8th Circuit, and three of the judges the basically own their asses for the next year. I was just invited to have lunch on Thursday with the judges of the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.

I have no idea how or why my school selected me (and three other students) for this, but it ought to be interesting. Updates to follow.
