Yes, feasted today. After dismembering the bird, slicing off the white meat for the family, I wound up standing by the carcass pulling off bit after juicy bit while folks circled the buffet. Only realized later I'd been emulating my crow icon.

Finished off this evening with a sturdy, but mild, mountain cheese.

I like cheese.

Trader Joe's sells a pound of raw almonds for $4.25. That's half the price most places around here. There's a Trader Joe's in Acton, Massachusetts, not too far from me. They have lots of good food.

Ate, like, half a pot roast yesterday. I'll get over it.

Went to the Peabody munch last night, saw my favorite people, had a Reuben sandwich.

Folks said I appeared to have lost weight. Who I see in the mirror never really changes, so it's nice feedback that my eating choices have created some visible changes.

I think one important lesson we can learn from crime news is that it's wise to avoid people who wear their coats over their heads.

We still have the old paper tally machines, so I had to get up and vote, instead of relying on the automatically computer generated vote now available in the big cities.
