In honor of and as a symbol of my joy in Kena and Bruno's happiness, I created the Wedding Garden yesterday. It's a perennial flower bed (with a dash of rhubarb, because love and marriage are both sweet and sour) next to Pete's Hole (also maybe a little bit of a love spell for our beautiful Pete?) In it I planted lilies, irises and peonies, and I ( Read more... )

What a beautiful gift, both in the doing and the describing. You make my heart warm, Crowjoy.

And Mander is indeed very lucky to have such a romantic wife!

That's such a touching gift, and full of some of my favorite flowers too! (And unless I'm mistaken about gardening, it will bloom right around this time of the year in your area, no?)

And of course, you can use the image from my invitation. It can't be anything but good luck to have our kiss grow into what will certainly be a gorgeous garden. And if you want to keep your copy intact - although I'm all for transforming keepsakes - I can send you another print.

Love,
Kena

Yay! I was thinking I'd just copy it onto wood. It's such a nice straight forward image. Hm, I was reading about burnishing the other day, but that would destroy my copy. So sure! If you have in electronically that would be great too, I can just print it out and try as many times as I need to. :D

How nice,

We were kind of thinking at times we'd like to perform a symbolic gesture, such as planting a tree, during our wedding. My sister planted a tree in her lawn when she got married a few years ago. However, not having a yard of our own, such an option was not available.

I'm very thankful for the gesture, it's very kind on your behalf. Hugs from rainy Canada.

Bruno
