Merry Christmas and Happy Alvistime!

I know I'm behind in my posting, most especially my Halloween postings. This October has been wonderful so far, with deliciously cool weather and storm clouds and everything!

Happy Anniversary to my husband, Mav! We celebrated with a delicious steak dinner last night since he'll be working tonight.

Day is my first day back at work, which means my first "offical" day back online and in the real world again.

Damn it sucks.

I have a few unofficial wedding pics, but I'm waiting on the official ones before I post anything.

I promise, as soon as I get pictures I will post them. It probably won't be until the end of the month as we will be leaving for our honeymoon Wed.

But it's over and I can't be happier. Standing there in the white dress, it felt more real than anything I've ever done. The day couldn't have been more perfect.

My parents are probably in the air right now, on their way to their connecting flight in Atlanta before heading out this way.

They are the first wave. There will be no sleep til (Brooklyn!) Monday, maybe Tuesday.

I can't wait until they get here. I've actually missed my parents, something I never thought I'd say growing up.

One week.

There is a whole other post I want to make re: my family and wedding shenanigans that I will have to get the strength up to post. It's most unfortunate that you can't pick your family because at this juncture I'd much rather pick some new uncles, thank you. On to the other stuff ( Read more... )
