Sanae was actually quite pleased with the effeciency of Shibuya's public transportation. Exactly on time. Sure, the bus took longer than the subway would have, but it never hurt to spend some time with yourself, right?
He folded the newspaper and left it on the seat for the next occupant--he hadn't done much other than skim the headlnes, focusing more on the funnies and horoscopes for the day. 'You can't get anywhere without opening up at least a little today -- secrets aren't helpful at all! In fact, the more you close up, the more likely others are to turn away from you for the time being.' Hm.
Sanae filed out with the rest of the passengers, easily spotting the head of orange amongst the others. With a small wave of greeting, he strolled over to the teenager. "He-ey, Phones. You got here quick."

"The shelters not too far from here. Besides, 20 minutes isn't really anything like getting to the other side of Shibuya in 15." he lied, hiding his face behind his hair for the moment in case the other caught the small, insignificant lie -- before raising his face from his collar and simply smiling upward. A nice, genuine smile. Something only reserved for Shiki, Beat, Rhyme and the man in front of him. " There isn't a coffee shop in this area. And unless you want to go by the costume shop -- the only thing that isn't an eatery is the arcade. Its pretty lame though."
...Oh wait.
was Sanae hungry? checking himself, and stuffing his hands into his pocket -- he lowered his head again. "Um. but if you're starving, I have plenty of nodes left. You need to take care of yourself." ... Okay, now he sounded like his mom.
...Damn.

An eyebrow arched lightly at lack of a coffee shop. How did this place survive? Maybe Oeste was as bad as Neku made it out to be...
He chuckled softly. "Nah, keep your cash, Boss, 'm fine. You might need it for later." Like for a train ticket outta here when things start to get bad.
"How you been holdin' up?" The question, though lightly delivered, was far from idle chit-chat. Between Beat's disappearance and Minamimoto's arrival, Neku had been on edge for awhile. Sanae wondered if the kid knew that Josh was gone too.

His arms crossed over his torso for a moment, and his neutral expression turned into a frown. Really, he'd been sitting inside on his own. Going places; just to see -- and coming back. Nothing eventful, save for two particular encounters with Math man. Oh, and he knew Joshua was gone. It wasn't like he knew for sure... but, he didn't feel as agitated as he had. No aura. Besides -- if Joshua had upped and left them, he expected it. Why on earth would he worry himself with taking an ex-player, an ex-conductor, someone that tried (repeatedly) to kill him, and a guy that just... concerned himself helping players with him ( ... )
