[the damp air and low clouds have finally gotten around to doing their job. sometime early in the morning, the sun blocked out by hazy gray-green coverage, it starts to rain. nothing serious, but enough of a wide, steady drizzle that everything ends up damp, slightly cold, and slippery

So, if we want to have a shot at it, we just put our flagging down technique down in one of our regular journal entries? That's it? Should we do it in like a 'private' entry or leave it open for other characters to scrutinize (or join in!) with what our character is doing?

A regular journal entry it is! It'll play out just like any other entry with said character performing whatever it is they think will work. You can choose to make it private or public; if it's public, then other characters can indeed join in! Just remember to label so I know it is your attempt~and you can try as many times as you want. ;D
