I for one do not have time for these parchments. However, Mother and Father have informed me of their benefit as they will now have better means of contacting me while I am at Hogwarts. However, as I am not, as yet, back in that pitiful excuse for a school, I do not see the reason for writing in this at all

Surprising, isn't it, how these journals suddenyl seem to serve all possible needs. Your parents would have a far easier time contacting you, all of Hogwarts will be able to do the same thing, and the Headmaster keeps his eye on us.
