Today marks one year since Dad passed away. Last night while I was taking phone pics of my apartment decorating, I accidentally found a pic of him that Cheryl had sent me during their last trip to Fredricksburg. First night at the new place. The neighbors all seem cool. 20 to 30-somethings, several couples, some students, etc. They tend to hang out in the courtyard together, and last night they even knocked on my door to see if I wanted to come down for crawfish (one of the guys works at Pappa's). i'm so glad to have tomorrow off. in fact, wish i could split right now and get back to packing and cleaning. furniture moving has been moved up to THIS saturday because there's more muscle available. i'm driving people nuts with my obsessive detailed planning! but i want to unpack my storage stuff so bad...haven't seen my things in a year!
