had a great time at the cookoff on saturday. ended up hanging out with jess and ej on the upper deck, doing jaegerbombs. bran ended up with two teams, but neither won. very cool to have the boat docked at the restaurant. i was so tired by the time we got back, but ended up goofing off until 5 in the morning. today i totally paid for it, though ( Read more... )

i'm amusing myself with "Important Things, with Demetri Martin" on Comedy Central. It sort of makes me miss Emo Phillips.

i've sat here for a good 10 minutes trying to vaguely broach the subject of friendship, but vagueness doesn't seem to work for me. it deeply puzzles me that two people that i really felt i had a close friendship with have, for the most part, distanced themselves from me without any real cause or explanation. i'm happy for the friendship they ( Read more... )

i'm fighting hard to not attach, but today it doesn't seem to be working. funny how things connect. i seem to bring other people together, and usually at a loss for myself. i should try to find happiness in a good deed and let go of people as they move on.
