• Make up an interest signup sheet for work parties / print work party schedules with web site
• Install PCI card for external hard drive, try ROM reset to see if that fixes DVD burning problem.

Saturday:

• Go to Blossom Fest I'll be presenting on the "Joys of home orcharding"
• DJ Kelly's 40th B-Day Party as DJ Mo-Will-Mo

Sunday:

• Clear the land, plant

What about the fourth anniversary of the war?

i heard there was a rally downtown, but then i indulged... i'll try to get to work!

You know, i did actually participate in the war in some sense. After i had got my oil changed in the van ( getting it ready for Renn Fayre ) this young guy bummed a ride down 15th to Fisherman's Terminal.

He smelled of alcohol, and referenced having spent all his money on st paddy's day celebrations the night before thinking he would get paid today. But he was real pissed off because, he said, a woman had stiffed him for $220 that he had earned pouring concrete for her in the last few days.

He was an Iraq war vet, now living on a boat which fished for herring, picking up odd jobs on the side. He said he hated fishing, but i didn't feel i could offer him a job.

Jack from TN said he had been homeless for six months after coming back from his two and one half year tour of duty.
