Oulah is a small stringy elf, prone to ignoring the totally sentient. While completely in tune with aspects of nature, and with the creatures of the wild or semi wild, This elf displays little in the way of understanding of social graces, or, for example, where it is socially acceptable to "answer natures call". Oulah is friendly enough in his way (always preferring the company of animals, especially that of his wolf companion), completely serene most of the time, but definitely odd. When, infrequently, he speaks, his voice is gravvely, un-elven, and not easy to understand

Osilgard is a thoroughly average-looking, heavyset human. He has fair skin with dark hair and eyes. The circles under his eyes are, he claims, from "years of sleepless nights meditating about the robbing the innocent." He has frequently launched into tales of his previous life and subsequent resurrection as a Servant of the Queen.
I will put on Crusader's chain barding and tie both warhorse and pack animal to a wagon. My crossbow will be loaded and placed at my feet, as well as a Bless spell cast on the party (second to last round). I will position myself kneeling/prone under the wagon, blanket wrapped about myself with one hand on Crusader's lead and the other on my sword.
Ana Danee'sihamsterpantsApril 9 2006, 21:17:48 UTC
Ana has striking green eyes, distracting all but the most attentive onlookers away from the slightly pointed ears that hint at half her heritage. She watches the hustle and bustle around herself calmly, even as her waist-length blonde hair begins to whip about her as the wind rises.
Ana directs a contemptuous smile toward the conformed thief. She recognizes his usefulness as a target for the group and casts Bull Strength on him so he can potentially be useful when surrounded by the enemy. Just before the storm arrives, she casts Prayer on all her allies and lies down on the sand to cover herself. She wears the garb of a traveler, and when she draws her cloak about herself becomes much more difficult to spot.
With a roar of sand and wind the approaching storm engulfs you. To recap: Ana, Zaneak, and Verealing are crouched in the open covered with cloaks; Osilgard is laying under a wagon with his animals nearby; Oulah is inside that same wagon (the only one in the caravan, loaded with bronze ingots) watching from under his pelt; and Alythana has shapechanged into a camel
( ... )
The approaching horsemen are arranged rougthly in a line parrallel to the caraven. Numbered 1 through 5 from the front of the caravan, number four is lagging about ten feet behind the rest. There is about twelve empty feet between each rider (remember that mounted characters fill a 10x10 space, so on a tactical map there would be one empty square between each rider. Luca will spend this turn digging out of the sand, and join the battle next round. Kyle will stay down and fight only defensively.
Oulah will stand to his full (4ft 7 in) height wipe any blood from his eyes and brow and fling his finger out to the left, whipping blood off of it and giving his wolf a herd command (having the wolf attempt to circle around and harry the horses, nipping towards hamstrings, shanks, etc. in an attempt to spook the animals) Oulag will then slowly shake his head with some sort of unfathomable emotion smeared across his face, sorrow? He will swiftly, and with exquisite smoothness loose three arrows at the base of the neck of the horseman third from us.
assuming my target is over 30 ft and under 110ft at all times (die roll)16 + (modifier)12 to hit 2+6 damage 14 + 9 to hit 8+6 damage 12 + 12 to hit 6+6 damage
If giving the animal a command is not a free action I will just fire the arrows. PS I am using the wizards die roller, is that ok?

Giving an animal a command generally is a free action. If the command involves indicating a specific target or conveying a complex instruction ("No, waffles, fetch the GOLDEN stick.") if is generally a move equivilent action. Highly conplex commands or those given in an unusual manner (ex. Polymorphing into a flower and ventriloquating to communicate to the animal) would require a full round action or more.

good so pointing and saying herd in sylvan woud be a free action i guess. (the command herd would intrinsicly involve all of the desired effects stated in my post)
