Everything I've seen coming out of the House fandom overnight (ie that 90% of the fans will not be returning for season 8) makes me even angrier that House was kept and Lie to Me wasn't. Cal sure had his moments of being an absolute idiot but, like you said, he was redeeming himself and it could have been part of a pretty emotional story arc if FOX had allowed the show to see it through.

I'm sorry for you, though, that House was such an epic failure. After seven years the fans deserved much better treatment than that. If it was worse that the LtM S2 finale then it must have been bad.

Chicago Code is starting up here so I'll try to catch it and see what all the fuss is about. :)

Yeah, I'm beyond angry that LTM wasn't picked up now. Beyond. How in the world did this entire season of House even get approved, much less that finale? They should've left it with last week's ep and it would've been relatively okay. Sorry for spamming with the rest of the irate House fans as I'm sure that must be tiring to hear. And yes, the finale was that bad. I bet if you watched the last three minutes, you'd agree. Because ugh, it was beyond comprehension.

Anyway, yes, Cal was a jerk at moments, but he was on the mend. It could've been a beautiful story, his redemption with Gillian and Emily helping him. He's learning and growing and that was the important part. He can be a jerk on the job, but outside of it he was getting better. I wish it could've been picked up by another network but I doubt it with three seasons in. Fic. There will always be fic. That's what I have to keep telling myself. Btw, how's your fic coming along ( ... )

Hearing all the negativity towards House makes me feel all the more justified in my anger that Lie to Me wasn't picked up, even though it doesn't help us at all now. Don't ever feel you can't spam about things like that; even though I don't watch the show anymore, I do find it interesting to see how people feel about things ( ... )

Let's use our rage and turn it into writing our fics. At least that's what I'm going to attempt to do ( ... )

Crushed. Angry. Betrayed. Rage. Disappointed. Doesn't even begin to cover my reactions, much less everyone else's. At least we can get through this together, right? That's the best part of a community. I'm here if you ever need to rant/rage. Heck, you can do it all over my lj if you don't want to use yours. I'm more than happy to leave this open for anything. ♥

I've been losing interest in House all season, but this was just ridiculous. I'm done. And pissed. About House and LTM. Just... eff you Fox.

Me too. Way to alienate your viewers, TPTB. It was beyond ridiculous. I don't even know why I held on for this long. I knew I should've just left it at After Hours. If someone had told me that House and Cuddy would split before the season ended, I'd believe them. If someone told me the season ends with House driving his car into Cuddy's home, I would've told them they were crazy and high on crack because there's no way the writers would ever stoop so low. Ha, joke's on me. =/

I am even more pissed about LTM because of this. Now I just want to forget House ever existed, or the last season at least. But hey, at least we don't ever have to tune in again after this. There's no going back for that show. But LTM will live on in fics. Once I get my head on straight, I'll get back into it.
