pathology came back mixed. the tumor was large, 7.5 x 6.5 cm, about the size of a tennis ball. clear cell carcinoma, furham nuclear grade 2. from what I can gather through reading on the internet, this is stage 2. he goes to see the oncologist Aug. 7. This feels like a long time.

Surgery was yesterday afternoon. Took about 2 1/2 hours. Came out cleanly. Took the adrenal gland with it. Lost more blood than they wanted so had to transfuse. Got to see him about dinner time. Pain free because of epidural. Pathology will take about a week.
