Not that long ago a fried of mine who lives in Boston told me about two scandals let loose in his city; one involving a legacy of covered-up pederasty in the Boston arch-diocese, the other involving a local football star wearing a Yankees hat in public. He told me he read about both in the same newspaper and had a hard time feeling different about
