I am, but that's it. I'm limited to whatever I can do under this power cap, and I'd rather that not be a reason that I can't protect my friends.

Would a shield be that useful for me? I'm not exactly sure what kind of sword mine is.

I've mostly used it one-handed, but I'm not very skilled with it either way. Would a real shield be more effective than a magic one? I can cast magic shields.
