So things have been very different for me over the last year. My failed marriage, combined with almost dying, losing a baby, and my dad passing away has been really hard on me. Wow... i haven't felt this way since first grade! I am so incredibly happy right now.

I am still hanging in there, and i am learning to let go of the past. There are still things that get the best of me from time to time, and i still do not understand exactly what they are....but i know that i will someday. This is enough for me....and i am still katie.

So i'm pretty much recovered as of now. The incision healed nicely. But here's the thing....i am truly broken in my heart and in my mind right now.
