[The fog passing over has drawn Allen out into the streets with his Innocence activated. The last time the bells sounded there had been a need to fend off monsters throughout the city, and Allen is determined not to be caught unaware this time. He has not, however, anticipated the affect of the fog on him.

It isn't so discrete as a sense of heightened emotion or of an enhanced violent tendency, but instead like a blurred sense of self, like he isn't fully sure where he was nor was he 100% clear on who he was, what he was doing, and so on. His experience of self kind of fades in and out, one moment leaving him completely sure and confident of what he is doing, and the next caught in a panicked feeling of being utterly lost both physically and mentally.

[ it makes for a spectacle, at least. there isn't a part of this thus far that doesn't catch some passing interest, and lavi's no different at all. that particular, acute kind of pain in his voice, the heightened distress. almost animalistic. giovanni knows the red zone effects well by now, and all the sumptoms: the illusions, the hallucinations and phantom pain, the taste of copper spreading to the back of the throat, disorientation, flashbacks, sterile walls, red blood sliding all over everything. the sound of her. hyperactive nerves, tremors in his hands that make it harder to grip his guns, and punishment, punishment, punishment.
