Early hours are only productive if you're a morning person. :P Unfortunately for me, I'm NOT a morning person and my brain only wakes up at 9am. Lazy days are here again
Have been rather tired and lazy lately. A relatively chilled weekend.. went to Temple of Heaven with my ex-classmate and her friends, but they mostly spoke Thai amongst themselves.. gotta go out with either English speaking ppl, or a more diverse group so that they can't converse among themselves in a different language. Crazy weekend spent travelling to and fro airports, waiting in airports, on the plane etc. My oral exam was on Thurs, our wait was made slightly easier with Emma playing the Easter bunny and bringing us Easter eggs from L'Artisan du Chocolat (i tried the lychee and rose flavour.. interesting combo). Exams were alright. Potentially could have done better, but ah well. That paper's over. I've got my oral exam tomorrow. Shoot.. my mum just reminded me that I have a placement test on Monday and the spoken is apparently quite crucial in the exam. sigh. Mountaineering weekend
I should know better than to do a mountaineering weekend with D. I'm a sloth in comparison. Did the Dover day walk, which D led. Estimate distance which he'd told us was 10-12 miles. Climbing days are good days+DofE
Had two physically exhausting, but really good days. Spent quite a bit of time with C. I find her really interesting and cool.. it's such a shame that we've only just gotten to know each other so late. Not likely that we'll ever be in the same part of the world in the future ( Read more... )
