Today I'm going to the venerable used manga store Mandarake to root around for lost classics. I'm especially interested in old Garo. There's a epicurian comicbook store that specializes in strange Japanese comics, and a record store that has hundreds of bootlegs which I'm looking forward to checking out also. I have just arrived at Seiji'ｓplace in Shinjuku, the Time Square of Tokyo. I flew 11 hours, watching Wall-E 4 times or more and had an old lady sit on and break my favorite headphones. Then there was the 2 and half hour bus ride from the Airport, but it was all worth it. Photos coming soon.
