Thanksgiving
SO I survived my first Thanksgiving with my family in three years. The past three years I had been the one cooking, and hosted a couple of friends to come and eat with us so they didn't have to deal with their crazy families either. But we're not in contact with those friends anymore, so instead of cooking I opted to go to my mom's instead ( Read more... ) -
Work and other stuff
Work is confusing right now. I started my 'new' job in March and everyone was immediately impressed on how fast I picked everything up and started making bonus checks. Oh yeah
Here's a PS for you. I turned 27. Craziness. I can't believe I'm closer to 30 now than 20. I was feeling really old until today at work, I got an e-mail from our HR person talking about our 401Ks and how far away retirement is for me, and then I didn't feel so bad. Mayhem!
So this marks my 5th Korn concert, 3rd time meeting Munky, Fieldy and Ray, second time meeting Jonathan Davis. Good god I sure do love that man. He was SO nice. I was all shaky. It's craziness. Also saw Rob Zombie who yelled at Lorele and I for not chanting 'mother fucker' when he asked us so nicely to do so. We were front row and we weren't ( Read more... )
