I was watching Oprah today, and the story about her friend, the designer Nate Berkus, and his boyfriend made me so sad. They were on vactation together in Sri Lanka, and Nate's boyfriend was lost during the Tsunami. They don't know whether or not he survived, but if you get washed away by a giant wave, your chances are pretty low. I know its ( Read more... )

Ohhh. That is so sad... We talked all about the tsunami in AP Chem today, and about how fortunate we are, and how we really have to help out because we all have so much. Then when we told the teacher it was the first time any of the teachers had addressed it he got really upset... It was really sad. :(

It is sad, I plan give at least some money to help, I mean compare something like this to 9/11. That was a big deal, but so many thousands more people died in this case.

We're going to do a dodgeball tournament to rase monsy at school, lol. 5-person teams, $10 each so each team contributes $50, and they're also selling tee shirts with a dodgeball on the back that says "watch your back" and I definitely might have to buy one!
