I'm hurt

I tried to run but I ended up handicapping myself. My ankles got hurt real bad, I can barely walk. I think I cracked a small bone or something, it HURTS and I can't move it very well. This is frustrating for me because I LOOOOOOOOVE to workout, but now that I got hurt there's no way I can. What am I going to do? How come every time I try to tun ( Read more... )

I really want to, but I don't think I have the money for it. :( I'm going to try icing and wrapping them and see what happens. This really sucks, as soon as I start to love running again I hurt myself (again). :(

I agree with the above comment.
You might've damaged the muscles. Maybe wait til it's healed [well definately wait] then start on slow walks instead of running. Build up to the running slowly.
During healing time maybe you could work on your upper body if you like working out, like your arms or something? Use bean cans as weights =P

I like that idea, maybe I can try pilates/sit ups and stuff until my ankles heal. :)
