Well, my friends I thought I was going to have lunch with have gotten back to me that dinner would be better.  So I'm thinking 3 things...

A) We get together earlier and leave at dinnertime

B) We take a break at dinner

C) You guys join us, the more the merrier.  I believe we're going to Old Chicago.

Thoughts?

I've seen corvids mobbing predatory birds before, but I saw four large ravens chasing after a bird much smaller than them (less than half their size).  Almost makes me think it was a hunt rather than a typical mobbing ( Read more... )

I've found I don't like driving at night.  The world is so enclosed.  Last year when I made this drive, between reflective snow, reflective clouds, and moonlight (obviously the cloud cover wasn't total), the landscape was clearly visible for hours after sunset.  It was ethereal and beautiful.  Tonight, it was just black.  Bleh.

So now I'm done with Highlander Season 1, and man, my memory was completely messed up about when things happened on that show ( Read more... )
