LOL on the spoiler alert. ^_^

I was actually glad that the Incredible Hulk distanced itself from The Hulk. I'd really like to pretend that movie never happened...in fact, I don't really remember anything about it, other than jellyfish in the desert, and a mutant dog, so I guess I'm doing a good job of editing my personal reality. ^_^

I agree with you about the Abomination-Hulk slugfest. That could have been either shorter or more interesting. I'm really hoping they show the alternate version on the DVD (if it was ever pieced together enough to be a legitimate cut). To me, the Hulk has always been more about the story than the smashing. Hyde just isn't all that interesting without Jekyll around to be all tortured.

Well, I knew you had already seen them from your posts, and I assumed that Mark had already seen both, but then I realized I shouldn't assume that.

I didn't mind the distancing from the first film, I was just saying it wasn't that clear. (I actually liked much of the first film. Nick Nolte's character after gaining powers and the gamma dogs didn't work for me however.)

Somebody pointed out to me yesterday something I had completely missed about the Incredible Hulk - apparently Betty's boyfriend in the film is a psychiatrist and is named Leonard Samson. He's a major character in the comic books (who became exposed to gamma radiation, but because his head was on straight, just became superstrong with green hair), but was never involved with Betty, so I guess I wasn't looking for it.
