Consider this my horse journal now. It will be friends only after this post. I am calling the barn I've been waiting to hear from tomorrow, and will hopefully set something up with a trainer, so I can start taking lessons NOW. I WILL buy a horse in August come hell or highwater.

Does anyone here know of any good lesson barns/trainers? I do not have a horse so it will need to be a place with lesson horses. Specifically, I'm looking for hunter/jumper type lessons, and I would love to not pay an arm and a leg. Also, the closer to gville the better, I don't really want to drive more than half an hour from the general UF ( Read more... )

Steve Irwin died and I am genuinely upset about it. He did so much to raise awareness and promote conservation... It doesnt seem right that such a good person should be killed in a freak accident.
