I've been reading the book Nickle and Dimed for a class. Awesome book. I'm preparing for my service-learning, which is going to be awesome- My grandmother connected me to a woman from her church, and together we are organizing a program to get lunches to kids in the summer who recieve subsidized lunches during the school year ( Read more... )

I woke up this morning to see that it had snowed last night. Not much, but the ground looked white. I considered staying inside all day in protest. Life has been chaotic lately!!!! I can't wait for summer! I'm not taking any classes this summer. I took two classes last summer, and while I enjoyed them both, I am really needing a break from it. I have a huge paper and presentation due tomorrow.

All I can focus on is the thought that I am homeless from May 1 until my refund check comes through again and I can get an apartment. I need to find a place to borrow a grand from.
