9th Month Developmental Assessment
On Sat, we brought Louisa to the Polyclinic for her 9th month developmental assessment.
We had scheduled an appointment, hence, waiting time was minimal. Good...especially since it was on a Saturday morning.

What Valentine's day? Ever since I started working in this industry, Valentine's day doesn't really exist. Listed companies have up to 45 days to report their quarterly results (60 days for full year). Lost...I got lost in the midst of work the past few weeks. It's been a mad rush...it's earnings season and CNY is just after the dealine for quarterly reporting! So there was hardly any breathing space in between to do any CNY preps...gotta clean the house, buy foodstuff, deco it a bit, and....prepare ang pows. *ouch*

We are currently expanding our department's staff strength. We have 4 analysts...and we are trying to expand to 8 analysts.
2 advertisements over 2 Saturdays in 1 month. Tons of resumes sent in.

Lotus root soup
The pantry lady got me into this...she brought her lotus root soup from home for lunch. Wah...the aroma filled the approx. 10 sqm pantry (yes, it's a small pantry). Mmmmmm....I'm hungry again (just had sliced fish soup for lunch). But it sparked off a search on the internet for lotus root soup recipes.
