Danny had come home exhausted. He hadn't gotten much sleep last night, and it didn't help that he'd gone into work. Thankfully, that was over and here he was while Lindsay was.. He glanced around the silent apartment before breaking into a smile. If Montana was going to go all Sleeping Beauty on him, he was going to join in.
He tugged a chair over to the hammock as quietly as he could before sitting back in it. She wasn't the only one around here allowed to take naps. Danny grinned to himself, putting up his feet and closing his eyes.
Danny looked over at Lindsay and smiled, lacing his fingers into hers. "Hey you," he said softly, shifting in his chair so he could press a kiss to the top of her head.
"Sorry they called you in," she said, wrinkling her nose.
Lindsay shifted and rolled out of the hammock, moving to sit on his lap. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed his temple. "I think Rex missed you," she whispered, glancing down at the dog who was currently lying on his back, paws in the air.
