Danny bit his lip and walked into The Dispensary, not sure what to expect. His first solo meeting with Montana's dad, and for all he knew, her dad was going to kick his ass. He spotted Mr. Monroe in a corner booth, sliding his hands out of his pockets as he approached, trying to seem casual. He offered a hand as he took his seat. "Mr. Monroe."

It was good being home. Danny had missed work, had missed putting together the puzzle pieces that made up each case. On the other hand, he had enjoyed having Montana all to himself.
