Lindsay and Danny's apartment, Tuesday afternoon

It was good being home. Danny had missed work, had missed putting together the puzzle pieces that made up each case. On the other hand, he had enjoyed having Montana all to himself. "In here, baby," she called over her shoulder, not looking up from the computer.

Lindsay finished what she was working on and saved it just as Danny walked into the dining room. Closing up her laptop, she smiled up at him. "You're late, Messer. Where'd you ... oh, pizza," she said as she smelled it in the air.

He set the pizza down on the table before leaning down to kiss the top of Lindsay's head. "Someone's been busy today," he said, lifting an eyebrow at her and gently tugging on her hair.

"Thought the deal was that you and I would split the rent, huh?" Danny pulled back slightly, still able to breathe her in over the scent of the pizza.

She shrugged and leaned back against him. "Had to come by and talk to Ryn about a possible missing person." Glancing up at him, she waved off any questions he might have. "Don't ask. I'm not entirely sure either," she said, wrinkling her nose.

Lindsay raised an eyebrow right back at him. "Yes, it is. You paid last month, so I paid this month. Therefore, it's split. Sort of. I think," she grinned, pulling him down and kissing his cheek. "You got a problem with that, hmm?"

He opened his mouth to say something about the missing person, because let's face it, he was curious. But if she didn't want to explain, that was fine... he'd simply pull it out of her later. "She lose someone, then?"

Danny smirked, shaking his head as he kissed her properly on the mouth. "Yeah, I have a problem with it. If I'm living here, I'm paying my share of the rent." He grinned before continuing. "Unless you want me living elsewhere, but you wouldn't get a piece of this amazing pizza I found."
