Hey everyone, I'm sixteen and in high school and I'm applying for the animation program for this year. Does anyone mind helping me out by answering a few questions? X]
1) Yes, though try to make it a kind of "professional" looking flip-book if you can. Like, don't put it on lined paper in a notepad. Mine was really simple... I think 50-60 drawings, of a character swiping his arm into pointing aggressively at something, on plain white 8x10 paper.
2) Hmm.. If I recall correctly (it's been a while, I was 2002 old school) it's a bit harder for out of state applicants to get in, but if your application is good, they'll still accept you.
3) That should be fine. I remember one of my letters of recommendation was from a non-art teacher who could attest to my work ethic.

Anyway, good luck. Hope you make it in!

2) That stinks though about financial aid, but if I do get in I think my parents and I will probably be able to pull together to get enough :/
3) Yayay! That's great. Thank you.
