Okay, several of these sound like Alfred Bester names. I can't quite pinpoint the exact books, but I'm going to guess that... #1 is The Demolished Man.

Master Frodo and Lina Faaldom are from Conflict of Honors by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller.

Is #8 possibly Gateway by Fred Pohl?

Consider me autokicked. In hindsight, I recognize Pres Sanders and Render (sans first name), from Oath of Fealty and "He Who Shapes". "The Moon Moth" was one of three or four Vance titles I considered, before guessing wrong.
