Sickly

I am out of work for the next 2 days due to a nasty bout of bronchitis. I've been trying to stave it off with OTC meds for the past 4 weeks, because I hate going to the doctor. Now it's gone beyond the OTC, and I have to take antibiotics. Oh well, I needed the rest anyway ( Read more... )

Howdy. I watched The Libertine this summer - he sure gets gnarly looking at the end of the film!

Yeah, he does get gnarly looking - but Depp really pulled it off well, I think!

Bronchitis. Yipes! Hope you feel better soon.

I had a nasty cough but I was lucky enough to get to the doctor before it progressed that far.

Clerks 2 is great. It's just one of those fun no-brainer movies that I ended up enjoying far more than most of the deeper more serious movies I tend to gravitate towards. 'Chasing Amy' is probably my favorite Kevin Smith movie but Clerks 2 was certainly a lot of fun.

Best hopes for a speedy recovery.

Kevin Smith movies - the best! Helps us not to take ourselves so seriously.

Feeling better, but wiped out!

Perhaps because you took it too seriously? Did you read the book at all?

My bad, I meant the movie. No, I didn't read the book though I would not be opposed to it. I just thought the movie was poorly acted and the pacing was horrible. That and the plot holes I could drive a truck through.

I just expect a bit more from Tom Hanks to be honest.

BTW - I haven't seen the movie. So no comment. But The Code - was the first Dan Brown book I read...I liked it so much. I went out right after I finished and bought the rest of them.
