Birthdays & Surgeries & Other Beautiful Things
Well, I survived my mom-in-law's visit! She was up the last week of August, & decided that she wanted to help us remodel the house. So, she spent over $3,000 on remodeling stuff - new flooring for the kitchen, bath, & dining room - and new appliances, including a new stove, a new dryer, & a new toilet. Acting Rashly
Well, after the freakish contact with the doorjamb came the "Mystery Rash." It appeared on a very uncomfortable part of my upper torso, & at first I thought it was some sort of poison. The Results Are In....
Well, I went to my family PA, & she had the results of my blood tests. Bad news abounds, because it's not rheumatoid arthritis in my shoulders, it's osteoarthritis. We discussed my upcoming physical therapy and pain levels, and she gave me a prescription for a whopping big bottle of 60 Vicodins! Greetings From the New Arctic Circle
Brrrrr!! It's damn cold here: wind chills of -10! Not to mention the snow that was dumped on Tues. night & Wednesday. I think we got about 16-18 inches, but it's hard to measure because the wind blows it all around.
