So the economic stimulus check finally arrived earlier this week, and I've been waiting for it in order to get insurance with one of the few companies that can handle an SR-22 form from Virginia in Maryland. Well,it looks like I've got a four-day weekend ahead of me this weekend. We're off on Monday b/c of Memorial Day and getting to work Friday next week instead. Erin and I are actually getting to go to see a movie in the theatre today without Caitlyn today. We're going to see Prince Caspian and it's going to be nice. :D There's a lot of other films coming out or is already out that I'd like to see, but I can't see them all.

So the scroungable food sources in the apartment were running slim and today was payday so I opted to walk to Wendy's for lunch. I was wearing my usual rainy day trench coat and fedora combo I'm famous for. In front of me in line was a man who looked homeless. He liked my hat and compared me to Dr.Who. I'm going through my routine and this is the time to do it. My morning has been pretty well organized so far. I'm off on Fridays, Erin works, and Caitlyn's at daycare at the Y so this gives me some personal time and a chance to catch up on things ( Read more... )

When I get home from work I have a clean-up routine I go through just generally straightening up the apartment. I make the beds, open the blinds, attend the dishwasher, and do a general pick-up of the living space. This helps keep the place from becoming a big wreck when I'm good about following it up.
