wow, its been a long time since i've posted an update...seeing as how it is now the end of the semester i felt inclined to write in this. for the most part i liked all my classes this semester. i just got back from miami beach on sunday, where i saw the ART BASEL MIAMI art fair. it was insane! i saw (in the main convention center) galleries like

25 million for ONE painting?!?!?!?! Talk about needless spending on a relatively useless posession. I can look at a copy of any painting for FREE, and I still get the same effect! That money could have bought food for a lot of people, but I guess a wall decoration is more important. God damn filthy rich people!

i think it was for a sculpture...but still, i know what you mean. you'd think they'd have better things to spend their money on, like those kids.

yeah, i think it was at the top of the pile if i remember right. this tree will probably be up until march though...haha
