Good heavens, this was incredibly poignant! It really wrenched my heart in a good way. Great, great characterizations.

This is what got me most: He certainly couldn't put a gun to his head in front of Sherlock. Suddenly Sherlock was very glad John had bought him.

I can't say if it's the lack of sleep, the fact I'm four days away from starting my period, or the genuine gorgeous writing and story-telling going on here that made me actually cry. Not just form a tear in my eye but cry damn it.
