We are going to make it all the way through June without the temperature exceeding the 70s. That is good news for me.

Oh, there is so much to do. We have to finish unpacking everything, finish our patio garden, and paint the rooms in a couple days.

But you know what? So far, so good.

I have been here less than a week. And so far, I have witnessed a nearly fatal car accident on the freeway, and a man followed me home from the grocery store. Today I learned what happens when you don't let dough rise. My rosemary and garlic focaccia bread ended up being a rosemary and garlic crispy bread stick. It is dumb and makes me dizzy when I chew it because it's so crunchy.

FML.

I'm having a dog identity crisis. I was researching his breed information and realized he may not be a German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix after all. Both breeds have pointed ears, but he has floppy ears. That's a pretty big trait that would not have made it through those two breeds. 2. It's funny when they trip.
3. They make you feel INCREDIBLY important.
