There's a moment in Jack Gallagher's show (now running at B Street where I work) when he delivers a long section about being a Red Sox fan. Here's hoping the M's make the playoffs and give me the longest season of my lifetime.

With the moves they've made, it probably will be a long season. Carl Everett? [shudder]

I'm just happy for the chance to watch (and hopefully this year - play) the game again. What a great way to spend a few hours (or in the case of opening day, the whole day) with some friends.

Wish me luck getting up early tomorrow to get the tickets.

Do not oversleep! Though, on the bright side, last year's opening day tickets set a very low bar. I'm half tempted to dare you to find worse seats than we had last year, except that you take challenges seriously and might actually find some.

If you make it up to Seattle for a game, let me know. Elliott's for pre-game and then a warm summer evening at the ballpark sounds great about now.
