Turns out I've been accidentally stealing internet from one of the neighbour's for about a week. My wireless setup on linux was not connecting to my secured network, and by default there was a fallback to "any unsecured network I can find". Since it connected to the internet, I didn't notice there was anything wrong. Ooops ( Read more... )

Well, the move went okay. Lots of wonderful people were very helpful, and a surprisingly unstressful time was had by all. Won't go into it too much now, maybe later. But 3 days later the furniture is all more-or-less in its final configuration, the boxes are starting to open, and most importantly we have internets! *happydance*
