Not that I don't find the terrible and beautiful logic to this, I'd much rather rub one with raw steak at the end of a long spear to keep my distance. Barney, it seems, bears a resemblance of the demeanor of the average Republican. Only they would attack anything valued at a thousand quid. Barney at least had higher standards.
