CALLING ALL MANSION "GUESTS"

Lately, things in the Mansion have been shitty. Between the trial and the attack of the Mirrors and what happened to Alice, I know we're all feeling a bit low and pretty hopeless. It seems like the Mansion is trying to tear us apart. But I have an idea to help us all band together.

We're going to build an airplane.

I don't think it can be very big.

We aren't all determined to be miserable. Things have been tough. This should help some people feel better.

Apparently you're taking everything pretty well. What's the secret?

So? Life is tough then you die. Except for here you just end back again for more. Maybe some of the more optimistic ones will like it. However I doubt you'll change the more miserable ones at all.

Large amounts of sex and mocking other people. Duh~

Well it's a project for the optimists, then. The people like you who are going to try to rain on our parade can stay in their rooms and pout all alone.

...You mean people are actually interested in having sex with somebody who has that bad of an attitude? I like sex, but I can't imagine it's any fun with someone who always sees the worst in things.

Well, it may help in getting us a bit away from the castle...

But I do believe any attempts to flee would be futile.

I didn't think we'd be able to leave in it. But there's something about flying that lets you leave your troubles on the ground behind you, and you don't necessarily have to pick them up again when you land. It's about emotional escape, not actually leaving.

It's a large object made of metal. People can sit in it and fly in the air. Would you like to do that?

Well I do tend to get lost in the library, but we might need some of the resources there, so... oh, I don't know.

While I'm agreein' with the idea of bandin' together, it ain't gonna work. I tried a bunch of times to get boats ta fly an' I only ever got a hover-craft off the ground, that was awhile back.

...Guess since the area 'round here keeps getting a bit bigger we'd have more ta fly over but ya can't just let anyone fly her.

Well, I think if we use the Chessboard Hills as a starting place, we'll have enough room for one of those simple models. You know, like the ones when people were only just learning to build aircraft at all. Those don't need much power and they can't go far, but between you and me we could definitely build one, if we can find the right materials.

And we'd have to make sure it only got flown by people who knew how to use it. It would be stupid to let anybody who wanted try to fly it and then crash the thing.

But we'll have a SHIP! A real one that flies! I'm so excited! Please say you'll help out.

We can get materials out of the closet or from the vendors, I think. I collected mine from people last time, scrap metals an' stuff like that.
