Let me tell you I had the same thoughts about a cat verses a dog. And although it's still true that cats are less maintaince they can still be needy. When I'm gone for a few days, or at least not there a majority of the time she cries for attention when I actually do find myself at home, and then she makes me feel bad. Considering she is an evil evil creature she probably does it on purpose.
