I'm glad things worked out Babe, you and Sakie make a great pair. There's always gonna be complications once in awhile, but as Channing said, hang in there.

*hugs*
Congrats on the job! ^_^

That sounds better than my job. Have fun with it. I'm glad to hear about you and Sakie. Can't wait to see you this summer. (hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge)

LOL, Gamestop.

Seriously, if they offer you management, refuse. They stole 2 years of my life!!!!!!!!111eleven.

In all seriousness, the job is pretty demanding. Constantly moving shit and having to put it back, (upper) management that can't tell it's ass from a hole in the ground, and rediculous sales "goals" (Read: requirements). It's been my experience that you should find what you're good at while you're there and hope to hell that the managers are smart enough to keep you at it.

However: Should you be lucky enough to have been hired into a store that can hold it's weight, maintain goals, and the storefront itself with a competent manager, it has the potential to be a VERY fun job.

The manager is a pretty cool guy, and actually they have already offered me a position in managment after I work there for a month or two. Yea, the sales goals and stuff kinda put me off a little, but its nothing i can accomplish pretty easily I think ( ... )
