So, I am trying to convince myself that I am not in love with Hunter. We have only known eachother a little over a week and I need to take charge of my emotions and not be pathetic. I'm not 19 anymore. I should not be obsessing over someone so easily ( Read more... )

Take this or leave it:

I've found it helpful to recognise those wonderful early stages as the myriad of other things that maybe aren't (but often have potential to be) full blown love. Infatuation? Being smitten? Caring about each other? Excitement? What seems to 'click' or 'be a good fit'? The list could go on.

I dunno, I find it frees me a little to be able to name it, and admit the magnitude of the feelings washing over me, without prematurely assigning it sa 'love.'

But then, like hell i know what I'm talking about!

Glad you're happy; hope it continues.

JD - just go ahead and be in love or whatever. It's all good. Don't try too hard to keep yourself in check... it's way too close to being impossible to do, and you will just end up frustrated with yourself. I tell you to just give in and be all crazy about the boy.

Please note that I do not know a single thing about this boy, but I do know you and your heart so I give this advice without reservation.

Besides, I totally WANT you to be in love with someone, regardless of how long you have known him. That's the stuff right there.

XO

yeah. but the last thing i would want to do is scare someone away with being to love-y. or put mistake lust for love which i usually end up doing.
