Holy big adorable baby! He really is a beautiful newborn (and I generally do think they're little/wrinkly/odd-looking) - congrats!

I was expecting a wrinkly alien-like baby too lol. But he was 4.4kg/ 9lb7oz when he was born, so doesn't look that much like a newborn, even though he was a week early!

I feel great, so happy and love being a mum. within a few days of his arrival the depression I had through the whole pregnancy was gone and I felt like myself again!

That photo was from about 5 hours after I gave birth, so i'd had a little sleep and put some lippy on lol. no idea what I looked like straight after, don't even remember this photo being taken!!
