Last night we had more children visiting than ever before I think. I reckon altogether around 70 -80! They were mainly in groups of three or four and I began to think we must be bussing them in

Thank you - it came from a local shop a couple of years ago (and was only cheap) but it is rather effective!

You both look splendid in your costumes. I'm afraid we just hide away and hope no one calls, which they don't these days. We're on the very edge of town and there are no kids living nearby.

We are in an area of mixed housing mainly built in the 1970s - there are bungalows, dormer bungalows like ours, and three bedroomed family houses. So the ages of the residents is nicely mixed, too. But I am sure some of the children must have come from the other end of the village, there were so many of them. Our road must have a reputation for being welcoming I guess :)

That´s a splendid costume you have! And it must be nice to have so many children around! Only a few made it to our house, because there´s mostly pensioners living here- their offspring with their young ones have their own homes now!
