This week has not been as organised as planned - on Tuesday I managed to slip, with my good leg, on a piece of clear plastic I had knocked onto the kitchen floor myself. As I tried not to fall I managed to twist the arthritic left knee ( Read more... )

As per usual, I had no reaction at all from neither flu nor covid jabs. So many people do and I often wonder what's wrong with me. LOL

I'm glad your knee has recovered its status quo. Have you spoken to an ortho doc about a possible replacement?

Wonderful help for Ukraine. I love your teddies...so sweet! They're lovely.
I am so fearful for Ukraine with Trump. He will withdraw all aid in favour of his Russian buddy. Everything that lies ahead with the orange man in power upsets me upsets me.

I had a bit of a sore arm with the flu one - and just felt a bit hot and light-headed for a little on the morning after the covid one, although previously I've had nothing at all after that one.

The ortho surgeon is due to see me again after Christmas - last time he said he thought it better to wait and I was fine with that - but I begin to think it would be a good idea by now.

And I, too, fear for the people of Ukraine now. Sending small things is not a lot, but does remind people they are not forgotten.

Ouch! Glad the knee is doing better, though.

And the story about sending vehicles and other items to Ukraine is just lovely.

Thanks - it is quite a bit better now.

The Ukraine thing was someone seeing what they could do to help, and then it growing almost organically as more people got involved - and the result just works, if you see what I mean.

Sympathies on the injured knee. Those sheets of plastic are so treacherous. I'm glad it's improved already.

Those toys look so cute and the warm hats and blanket are sure to be appreciated.

It's more or less back to its usual level of discomfort now, thank goodness.

The toys are to a very simple pattern, but I know children I have given them to here love them. I try to make each hat etc. different, too.

It's lovely to hear that people are still sending stuff to Ukraine, for the ordinary folk. Children need some light.

I was glad to know they still go out regularly, as it is all too easy for people to get 'war fatigue' and give up on the support after a while.
