I'm glad you survived Storm Darragh without any damage. We did too. I'm just writing a post about our walk yesterday which turned into an obstacle course due to fallen trees.
Re Glorfindel, I am at that point on my walk to Rivendell. We have just met him on the road. :-)
There is a lot of debris on the roads - and stacks of wood where trees have been cleared off the road but not yet removed - we had over 200 trees down!
As for Glorfindel - as you have just met him you can confirm how accurate a likeness the picture is... :)
It's difficult to say. It's dark and we're all tired and terrified. OK, Strider isn't terrified, but all us hobbits are. But the long golden hair shines even through the gloom, so that's definitely accurate. :-)
The relationship between Mirimien and Tindómë is like that of Buffy and Dawn, in that the essence of one forms part of the other. Haldirin and Ithilienne as well, but I can see where Tindómë could need a minute to process. (Rumil might have a private moment of "Well, this sibling can't try to run off with her"; he's prepared to grant Spike some grace for having the ceryn to stand still and let Haldir shoot him, to come to another world and look after Tindómë.)
They will, of course meet - and the question might be does Mírimien count as a sister, or a parent?
Rumil will have no qualms about her running off his wife - well almost no qualms, anyway. But he might worry about whether finally meeting her predecessor as The Key will unsettle her and make her doubt herself the way the previous incident did.
And yes - he knows Spike did all he could to keep Tindómë alive in the other dimension, and to get her returned to this one, was willing to stand there and be shot, and is at least in this dimension; but I think Rumil would prefer him not to exactly join the household...
Isn't it! It has quickly become the twins default description of a lot of people, and this pair would gratefully adopt it too.
And yes - both Orophin and Lithôniel are going to be amused at her having a kinswoman when they find out. As the twins are still oblivious to the possibility by the time they visit Elu and Melian, it is clear that Glorfindel has not been hasty in making the introduction, which definitely means that Lithôniel will be somewhere deep in a forest - or setting up home on the edge of a lake - by the time he gets around to it!
Yep - that would sum up Rumil's attitude - my wife's distant kinsman - preferably a couple of hundred miles distant.

"Kinswoman" is such a useful word! :) Genuinely, I don't know. Lithoniel is going to facepalm. "I leave you alone for six months and this happens."
[Rumil] might worry about whether finally meeting her predecessor as The Key will unsettle Tindómë
Reasonable!
I think Rumil would prefer [Spike] not to exactly join the household...
"Hey, how long has it been since you spent a lot of time in the sunshine? Yeah? Great! Go do that for a yen or three."
